On March 19, 2005, our good friends, Mark and Holly McClure, hosted a baby shower for us, attended by many friends and relatives.

We had such a good time just catching up (we finally got to see Matteo Ghielmetti in person!), that we almost forgot to open gifts - Carly's getting spoiled, already.

WOO HOO! We found out today (December 22, 2004) that it's a girl (and we included the background color in case you couldn't guess)! She looks perfect so far, everything in its place (but the ultrasound pictures really sucked, so no new pix, sorry.), She's growing just at the right pace, according to the doctor. We're thinking Carly Alexandra Tagami. It may change, but that's the front runner, now. Kane has a baby sister! Yeeha!

Here is a picture of the little lima bean - I think it looks just like me.

The doctor said he was happy to see the fetal heart beating at seven weeks; he said it meant everything was going well.

The little bub is only seven weeks old as of Sept. 29 (if you look on the picture there, it will tell you it measures only 10 millimeters at this point), so the next ultrasound, which likely won't come until around Christmas time, will show a lot more (including the sex).

I (Jess) am just feeling tired, but otherwise pretty okay. Just running after Kane, aka. Lovebug.
